Court Employees' Year End Party
"Uniting the Pillars of Justice for Better Public Service". This was our theme as we held our office's 2011 Year End Get Together party last December 20, 2011 at the Hall of Justice, ORG Compound, Cotabato City. The guests and attendees arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon. The program proper started at four (4) o'clock in the afternoon. The invocation was led by our Honorable Executive Judge Ibrahim followed by the roll call of the court employees in attendance. Atty. Noel Ben, president of Integrated Bar of the Philippines Cotabato Chapter delivered his opening remarks while the executive judge delivered his inspirational message. During the event, recognition of retired court employees was awarded to our three beloved office mates. Of course, the party will never be complete without the traditional exchange gifts and will never be FUN without the parlor games for the seniors! Everyone danced the night away with the 6th ID Live Band playing the danceable songs. =)
By the way, I played the role of the master of the ceremony whether I like it or I like it very much. I was tasked by my boss to do it so I have no choice but to follow the order. =)

Thank you Aiyen Bondoc for gracing our get together party and for the intermission number. You have such a beautiful voice everyone will envy. =)

Going back to my JCI events, the second project conducted during my term in 2011 was the Chapter Management Training and Team Building Seminar held at Sardonyx Plaza last February 5, 2011. The seminar was supposed to start at 1:00 o"clock in the afternoon but unfortunately members and officers arrived at 4:00 o'clock in the afternoon. What I can do, JCI time is always JCI time. That is why I added a short phrase to our slogan "Be Better" late than never. lolz! It was okay though. It was only attended by only few of the members and officers. It's perfectly normal, I cannot please everybody. I cannot just drag them to attend. So, as gift to the early bird and everyone present, I gave them JCI pin to show my gratitude in attending the said seminar.
The seminar was conducted by 2007 LO President Donjie Vertuoso as Head Trainer and 2011 Vice President for Individual Development Oliver Makilang. It was a fun-filled and exciting training-seminar. =)

Modern-Indie Wedding
Last December 18, 2011 at Alnor Complex, Cotabato City, I witnessed a modern-indie wedding of a lovely couple King and Liza. All the sponsors and the bridesmaids were wearing a modern-indie dress while the bride was wearing a traditional white long gown. This wedding was close to perfection from the solemnity of the occasion, the fabulous and colorful indie dresses, the venue and the decor.

This was the first time for centuries that I attended a wedding ceremony again. I stopped gracing this kind of special events because I hate to hear people pressuring me that I should be the next walking down the aisle. Well, so much for that story.

The occasion was also graced by the former Congressman of the first district of Maguindanao Datu Digs Dilangalen as one of the primary sponsor.

JCI Cotabato's Free Influenza A (H1N1) Vaccine
The first project of JCI Cotabato for year 2011 during my term was the free Influenza A (H1N1) virus vaccination and blood pressure monitoring in coordination with the City Health Medical Staff on Health Services of Cotabato City which spearheaded by then Baby Jaycee Stephen Henry Chin. It was a two-day activity held on January 12 and 13 last year. Among the recipients were Marine Battalion Landing Team-7, Cotabato Light and Power Company employees, families and members of JCI-Cotabato, and other residents of Cotabato City. There were 279 dosages given to the target recipients.
The objective of the project was to be able to support the community-wide immunity against Influenza A (H1N1) virus which was recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) during the post-pandemic period. After two (2) days of vaccination, we were able to get feedback from the community, accordingly it provides immunity to the system against the flu A (H1N1) virus.
